keyboard&vocals: Marthilia Svarna
The lights are out, the tower has fallen
The city is crying, people are gone
There's a song in the air about a white dress painted red,
about young and old children going earlier to bed
once upon a time in Paris..
I heard a few stories about heaven and hell
And some kind of God
who's washing the blood of his hands
washing the guilt of your minds
once upon a time in Paris..
We know, yes, we know, we know very well
how to exchange the blame,
how to exchange the fire of hate
But when will we learn how to exchange love?
once upon a time..
anywhere in the world,
whenever you see a burning land
there's always something new to learn bout another big dream
a dream that's turned into ashes
and several plans ending up like broken glasses
I don't pray for your mercy, I don't pray for mine
I just wish you could understand
that we know nothing about pain
we know we nothing about loss
But the worst thing of all,
we know nothing about freedom,
nothing about love
once upon a time in Paris..
